Bogor Botanical Gardens

1.

(This little tease was scrambling about high in the trees. Long, thin beak, bright white, or so it appears, and black tail feathers.)

I recently spent a couple of mornings here with my camera and Strange's Photographic Guide to Indonesian Birds. Plenty of birds to be seen and heard, especially early on, but identifying proved difficult. Gone are the days when I could spy a nuthatch, blue tit or goldfinch on the bird table in the back garden.

Any help identifying these spieces would be greatly appreciated.

Some photos are not clear, too ambitious with the 70-300 mm, but perhaps the outline, colour can provide clues.
I appreciate some pictures may feature the same spices, especially the one in flight and the wader. Some kind of bittern perhaps?
The third picture down on the right I'm pretty sure is a Javan Munia

Hi, if I'm not mistaken, here are the names of those birds (unfortunately No 1 and 2 are not clear enough), but I think No.2 is the same as No 5 which is a black-headed bulbul. No 3 is a javan munia. No 4 is a collared kingfisher. No 6 and 8 are the same bird, but I don't know what's that, I guess that's some kind of egret or heron, while No 7 is a eurasian tree sparrow.

I think 8 is a juvenile Black crowned night heron (Nycticorax nycticorax)
